Profiles are written by their owners. We say what we’ve checked and what we haven’t, the same way venue pages show their proof.

- Venues that pour or stock a brand are dated observations: we show when we saw it.
- Verified
- Only isitfunky can mark a profile verified, after we've confirmed who runs it.
- Paid work
- Partnerships are labelled and never buy a place in the index or a Funk50 selection.
- Producers in the index
- Producer records already in the Funk Index stay on /producers; a brand profile is the maker's own page.
