Meet · People
Find your people.
The people, places and things that make a city feel alive. Every person here has agreed to be listed, and every record says where it comes from.
First people in progress
We’re meeting the first 30 Montréal places and people now. Nobody is listed until we’ve met them and they’ve said yes.
The person record
What each page will hold
People are records in the Funk Index, like places and producers. They link to each other, so you can follow a person to their places and their places to the next person.
- Roles
- Maker, connector, host, producer. Often more than one.
- Places
- Where to find them, linked to the index.
- Creations
- What they make: wines, rooms, menus, objects.
- Recommendations
- Where they'd send you next, and why.
- Stories
- Films and journal pieces they appear in.
- Evidence
- Source, last checked, and whether anything was paid or hosted.
