Ask Claude where to drink.

isitfunky's MCP server puts our natural-wine index in your assistant. Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client can search proven venues, read why each one is on the list, and plan a walkable crawl, with a link back to every venue.

Server URL

Streamable HTTP, stateless, read-only. No key needed. Rate limited per IP.

Connect

Claude

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it isitfunky and paste the server URL.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http isitfunky https://www.isitfunky.com/api/mcp

ChatGPT

Turn on developer mode (Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced), then create a connector with the server URL and no authentication. Menu names change; follow ChatGPT's current connector screen.

Cities we cover, with how many venues have proof on file. Launch cities first.
search_venues
Venues in a city by name, neighbourhood, category or distance. Proven only by default.
get_venue
One venue's evidence: stamp, reasons, sources, dates, address and booking link.
plan_crawl
A walkable crawl of 2–8 proven stops with walking minutes, reasons and a share link that opens in the app.
explain_proof
What the proof stamps and evidence levels mean.

Keyword search and fetch-by-id, for ChatGPT connectors and deep research.

Data use
Facts and links
Venue facts, proof reasons and links are free to quote, including in AI answers. Please credit isitfunky and link the venue page (or /answers/city) when you show them. The same terms cover the site and llms.txt. We never return the old funky score, ratings or vibe tags; they aren't evidence.
Privacy
No personal data
The server returns public venue data only. We log which tool was called and the city, never your prompt, your IP address or who you are.
