Why fund us?
Most food and drink platforms make money by selling placement. Bars pay to be listed higher, restaurants pay for “verified” badges, and the whole recommendation engine is quietly optimized for ad revenue — not for helping you find a great glass of wine.
We refuse to do that. Placement and proof stamps are never for sale, and a community fund is how we want to keep it that way: the only agenda is getting you to a great natural wine bar in your city.
Contributions would cover servers, development, trips to check venues in person, and the time it takes to keep a map of 100+ cities honest.
Fonds de Prévoyance
Protecting the small producers and vineyards that make natural wine possible. Because if the vineyards disappear, so does everything we love about wine.
The threats are real.
Frost, drought, wildfire, and hail are devastating harvests with increasing frequency.
Skyrocketing land prices and development force small producers off their family plots.
Chemical spraying on neighboring plots contaminates low-intervention vineyards through drift.
Thin margins and distribution challenges make it impossible for small domaines to survive.
How it works
Community funds flow in
Once the community fund opens, a share of every subscription will go to the Fonds de Prévoyance.
We identify vineyards at risk
Through producers, importers and sommeliers, we'll look for domaines facing threats they can't absorb alone.
Direct support, no middlemen
Funds will go directly to producers for equipment, land protection, climate adaptation or transition costs.
Full transparency
Every allocation will be published: who received it, how much and what it paid for.
