Top 10 · San Francisco · checked 2026-10-10

10 natural-wine places we'd send a friend in San Francisco.

In no particular order (A to Z). We picked them by the strength of the proof that each pours natural wine: its own site, its wine list, named press or natural importers. Not by popularity, and nobody paid to be here.

How we chose

Every place here is a bar, restaurant or café with proof on file. We took the 10 with the strongest proof in San Francisco (31 proven sit-down venues on file), then listed them alphabetically, because a stronger source isn’t a better night. The stamp on each card says what kind of proof we have; the source link and the date say where and when. The Funk Score adds up that proof, point by point.
