Natural Wine in Berlin (2026)

Berlin's natural wine scene grew up in a city that was, for a long time, cheap. That let young sommeliers open bars and experimental producers find distribution, and the scene still has that do-it-yourself energy.

Neukölln and Kreuzberg are good places to start. The bars here often feel more like community spaces than commercial ventures; the line between bar, gallery, and living room is intentionally blurred.

On our proven list, Sorrel, Orangerie Neukölln, and Balance Wein bar all say natural on their own sites.

The German natural wine movement is growing. Producers from the Pfalz, Rheinhessen, and Baden are making stunning wines with minimal intervention. Riesling and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) are the stars.

Berlin is also a good city for Georgian and Eastern European natural wines. The city's immigrant communities brought their wine cultures, and bars reflect that diversity.
