Run or ride. Then coffee.
Weekly social runs and bike rides, in the morning or after work, that finish at a proven café or natural-wine bar: the third space. New in town? Come along and you know a room and a few faces by the end. Live here? It’s a reason to keep coming back.
Meet, move, sit down together
- 1
Meet
A named meeting point, on time. Say hi, say your pace; nobody minds.
- 2
Run or ride
5–8 km on foot or 15–20 km on a bike, at a no-drop pace: the group waits, and nobody is left behind.
- 3
Finish at a third space
A proven café or natural-wine bar. Coffee is the default. On evening meets a glass is there if you want one, never expected. Everyone pays the venue for their own.
Crew meets
Nobody gets dropped
- Pace
- No-drop. The group waits at the turns and regroups before the finish.
- The finish
- Coffee is the default. On evening meets, a glass is there if you want one; it's never required, never a reward, and never free.
- Paying
- Joining is free. You pay the venue for whatever you order, at its prices. Nobody pays us.
- Rides
- Your own bike or bike share; a helmet, and lights after dark. We ride in single file on busy streets.
- Wine
- Only for those of legal drinking age (18 in Montréal and Paris, 21 in New York). Nobody rides home after drinking.
Riding in? Every venue page has a Ride there box: cycling directions to the nearest bike-share dock and a link to the city’s bike share (BIXI, Citi Bike, Vélib’ and others).
The rides aren’t sponsored. Bike operator or brand? Sponsor rides to the city’s best third spaces.
Join the list, or host the finish
Montréal, New York and Paris first. We only email about Crew meets in your city.
Host a crew meet at your venue
A café or natural-wine bar in the index? Be the finish: a table for a dozen, coffee ready around the time they arrive. You sell what they order; there’s no fee either way. Pick “Host the finish” in the form, or post it as an event from your dashboard.
Why a café at the end? Read the third space.
