One bottle. One cellar. One night.
A rare large-format natural wine, opened once, in a cellar most people never see, with the person who made it or brought it here. Tickets can't be bought.
The bottle
One rare magnum or larger, from a grower worth a whole night. In Québec it's ordered through the SAQ's private-import channel.
The ticket
Twelve to twenty numbered tickets per edition, printed in gold, never sold. For the first edition, we nominate. After that, bars with the isitfunky? Confirmed badge and past guests nominate too. No draw, no purchase.
The cellar
A room most people never see. The address arrives the day before.
The story
The winemaker or the importer in the room, a printed menu of the bottle's life, and a short film afterwards.
The bottle is rare. The people are just curious.
The tickets go to people who will care about what's in the glass: the bar staff who pour natural wine, and people who ask good questions about it. Pours are small, there's water on the table, and ID is checked at the door.

Co-present an edition.
You choose the bottle, and ideally bring the person who made it. In Québec the bottle comes through the SAQ's private-import channel, never in a suitcase. We do everything else.
What you get
- +Your name on the ticket, the menu and the film
- +Your winemaker or importer presenting the bottle to guests we nominate. Partners don't choose, receive or hand out tickets
- +The film and photos to use on your own channels
- +The story told on isitfunky, labelled as a partnership
What we do
- +The guest list and the nominations
- +The room, and the permit it's served under: an RACJ event permit or the host venue's own licence, confirmed for each edition
- +The printed menu: the bottle's biography, written for the night
- +The film and the photos
Editions from $4,500 CAD plus the room at cost, and the bottle as bought through the SAQ
Co-presenting never buys a place in the isitfunky guide, the badge or the guest list. In Québec, your own promotion of the night, including your use of the film and photos, needs RACJ approval at least 5 days before it goes out; we prepare the file with you.
