who pours your wines, where, since when.
the funk ledger, read from the maker's end. every placement comes from a venue's own wine list or a stockist list, with the day we read it.
the funk ledger links 5,291 natural wine producers to the lists we read in bars and shops. every link has a source and a date.
lists read from 26 sept 2026 to 11 oct 2026. the history starts there; it grows every time we read a list again.
every venue whose list shows a producer in your book, by city and market, with the first and last day we saw it. counts over time, by month.
“which bars in montréal list my growers, and since when?”
proven venues that pour producers like yours (same region, same grapes) and none of yours, counted by city. a prospect list starts from the count, not a name.
“where in copenhagen is my kind of wine poured without me?”
a note when a venue starts listing one of your producers, or hasn't been seen pouring them in 60 days. your book only.
“tell me when a new list picks up my chenin.”
the same data as a scoped feed or a regular file (csv) for your own systems. your book only, keyed to you.
“put our placements in our crm every monday.”
sourced, dated, never a ranking
- you see your own book: your producers, where they're poured, since when. never another importer's placements.
- venues are named only when they're proven and the sighting has a date. everything else is a count.
- no ranking, no “top importer”, no share-of-list against a named competitor. we don't sell that and won't build it.
- buying data never changes proof, a tier, a badge or a listing. a venue is proven by its own list, the same way for everyone.
- no wine prices, ever. member bottle notes never count as a placement.
what it is not
not a ranking
no scores, no “top importers”.
not for sale
tiers and badges can't be bought.
not personal
no drinker data, ever.
where it comes from
- venues' own wine lists, read and dated (menu snapshots)
- importers' and agencies' public portfolios and stockist lists
- the funk ledger: producers by tier, from charter bodies, natural fairs and natural importers
- owner uploads and “on the list tonight” posts from the venues themselves
the venue end is public: 1,000+ proven natural-wine venues in 100+ cities, each with its proof stamp, the reasons we call it natural, a source link and the date we last checked. no ratings, reviews or personal data. quote it with attribution: credit isitfunky and link the page you cite.
