For bar staff

Tools that work one-handed behind a bar, and credit for your taste.

The people behind the bar and on the floor.

What you need

In your words

  • I want to redeem a gift in two taps during a rush.
  • I want to tell a guest where else they can drink this producer.
  • I want to be known for the list I built, not just the bar's name.
  • I want to know when a guest is coming on their own or with a crawl.
What's hard today

Without us

  • Vouchers that need a manager, a code sheet and a phone call.
  • Sommeliers move and their reputation stays with the old bar.
What you get today

Working now

Live works today. On request is arranged by email. Pilot is built but not open yet.

  • The tap screen: balance, amount used, bill number, confirm. Only for people on a venue's staff list; gifts aren't open yet.

  • A code, a tap, a bill number from the bar's own till.

  • Where else a producer is on the list.

  • The makers, connectors and hosts behind the places, with consent.

How we work together

Who pays for what

No charge: editorial
We tell staff stories because they're the story. Nobody pays to be in one.
Live
Paid appearances
When staff appear in commercial Studio work, it's paid and labelled.
Coming
The rules we work by
  • Proof stamps, the badge, placement and editorial selection are never for sale.
  • Producers can't pay staff to push their bottles through us.
  • No status labels on guests ('VIP', 'regulars'). Everyone is welcome the same way.
  • ID is always checked at the bar.
