Be found by people looking for exactly what you pour, and fill the room on quiet nights.
Wine bars, restaurants, bottle shops, cafés and grocers that pour or sell natural wine.
In your words
- I want people who care about what's on my list to find me.
- I want my listing right: hours, photos, links, what I pour.
- I want groups and private events on the nights I'm quiet.
- I want new guests without discounting (I can't in Québec anyway).
- I want anything that sends me money to be simple for staff and clean for my till.
Without us
- Review sites reward volume, not what's in the glass.
- Most guides are stale: closed places, old lists.
- Promotions that work elsewhere are illegal for alcohol here.
- Group bookings arrive as ten emails and a no-show.
Working now
Live works today. On request is arranged by email. Pilot is built but not open yet.
A stamp from sources anyone can check: your site, your list, press, importers.
Find your venue, then 'Claim': edits, links and the start of the dashboard.
Where people look when they're out and deciding.
- Crawls →Live
People draw nights across proven bars and send them to friends.
- Events →Live
What's on. Tell us yours and it's listed.
A tasting, pop-up or dinner at your place: the date, the link and who's hosting. Reviewed before it appears; listing is free.
We bring groups: client dinners, birthdays, tastings. You contract with the customer for the room and drinks; we invoice our own fee. Montréal first.
- The badge →Live
A dated in-person check. Never sold.
- Venue dashboard →Pilot
Page edits, views and gifts in one place. Shows sample data until your claim is verified.
- Gift a Glass →Pilot
Prepaid guests at your own prices, paid into your own Stripe account. Not open yet.
Not built yet
- SoloSeat →Coming
A held stool at the counter for one. The guest orders and pays for their own glass.
- Wine-list uploadComing
Drop your list; it becomes dated bottle observations and lifts your proof.
- The Stage →Coming
Your floor as a programmable space for takeovers and dinners.
Who pays for what
- Proof stamps, the badge, placement and editorial selection are never for sale.
- The bar is always the seller, at its posted price. isitfunky never holds drink money.
- Québec: no member price, no advertised free glass, no happy-hour listings. We won't ask you to run a promotion you're not allowed to.
- Percentage fees on alcohol sales need local counsel (NY SLA Advisory 2021-23; Québec separately). In New York, a fee paid by a bar is flat or at most 10%.
