SoloSeat
A good seat. A clear menu. A welcoming experience.
The best natural wine bars in the world are counter bars. SoloSeat is a held stool at the counter, for one person, with a clear solo menu at the bar's own prices. You order and pay for your own glass. No group to organize, no hovering by the door.
Coming: no bars take SoloSeat holds yet, and this page shows how it will work. 18+. isitfunky never sells the pour: the bar does, at its posted price.
A stool. Your glass, your choice. Just you.
How it works
01
Pick a bar
A SoloSeat venue on the map, tonight or next Tuesday, once venues join.
02
Hold it

03
Show the code

The economics · planned
The bar sells. We don't.
A held stool at the counter, for one person. Everyone is better off than an empty stool, and every glass is sold by the bar at its posted price.
- Montréal
- No charge to members. The bar sells every glass at its posted price, and isitfunky takes nothing from the bar.
- New York
- Sold by the bar. isitfunky's fee is a flat booking fee paid by the guest.
For the bar
A stool filled on a Tuesday
Solo guests fill the seats groups leave empty, on the nights you need them most.
A guest who said yes
Held stools go to members who RSVP'd. A no-show frees the stool after 30 minutes.
You sell, we count
No POS integration, no new hardware. Tap the code on your phone; the sale is yours, at your price.
Check-in runs on the code model — no POS work, ever, until you want it.
“Travel alone, drink well, talk to the bartender.”
That's the whole product.
